Halloween night of UK garage and electronic music headlined by Notion, with DJ EZ, Girls Don't Sync, Yung Singh, Saint Ludo and SKALAH across GASWRX.
Notion headlines GASWRX on Saturday 31 October, taking over the basement for a Halloween special that runs from 15:00 right through to midnight. It's a long one, so you've got plenty of runway to settle in.
Notion is one of the bigger names in the UK dance scene these days, with the album Forwards and his viral remix of Chrystal's 'The Days' doing a lot of the heavy lifting. He's based in Bristol and runs the Dance Dubs project, where he puts out his live edits and bootlegs. He's toured America and Canada and played Glastonbury, Hard Summer, Leeds Festival, Creamfields and Coachella, so he's well used to the festival circuit. His sound pulls from speed house, bass house, electronic and UK garage, and that's exactly the kind of ground the night covers.
He's not alone on the bill. DJ EZ, a proper UK garage pioneer, joins him, and the rest of the line-up brings in Girls Don't Sync, Yung Singh, Saint Ludo and SKALAH. The night is billed as one of Birmingham's biggest Halloween events, with UK garage veterans and newer electronic acts spread across the main arena and the basement, immersive visuals and a festival atmosphere. Fancy dress is highly recommended, so it's worth thinking about your outfit well in advance if you're going all in.
