A 50-minute yoga session followed by 30 minutes of puppy cuddles and playtime, designed to reduce stress and improve mental health.
Puppy yoga is coming to Malacuna Birmingham on Saturday 17 October, with the session starting at 12:00. It runs for 50 minutes in total, split into two distinct halves: 20 minutes of soothing yoga led by fully qualified instructors, followed by 30 minutes of puppy cuddles and playtime. Both halves are said to reduce stress and improve mental health, and to lower blood pressure and cholesterol.
The puppies are still very young and may have occasional accidents, so you're advised to bring a change of clothes. For safety, you cannot bring your own pup; the classes are designed to help breeder puppies socialise before they find their forever homes. That's the main point of the whole thing — the puppies get some much-needed socialisation with people before they head off to their new families.
