Soundbath led by Manoj of Manoj Collective using crystal bowls, gongs and singing bowls in Thinktank's 360-degree digital Planetarium.
Manoj Collective is bringing a soundbath to Thinktank on Saturday 7 November, and the venue is a good part of the draw. It's held in the 360-degree digital Planetarium, so rather than sitting in a chair, you lie down or sit back and let the sound wash over you. Blankets are provided, which is a handy touch for a session that runs for over an hour.
The session is led by Manoj, a Birmingham-based yoga teacher, breathwork facilitator, sound practitioner and ayurvedic therapist. He's spent the last eight years bringing sacred teachings back to the West through classes, workshops and sound experiences across the country, with an ethos of inclusion and accessibility. His soundbaths draw on crystal bowls, gongs, singing bowls and chimes, and he's worked from more than 700 hours of teacher training and several trips to India.

It's a New Moon session, and the timing is worth noting: it starts at 4:30pm, but the sound experience itself begins promptly at 5pm. Latecomers aren't admitted, so you'll want to be in your spot before the start. Tickets are £30 for over-18s, and the whole thing takes place at Thinktank, Birmingham Science Museum, Millennium Point, Birmingham, B4 7XG.
