Over-18s Halloween party with Reggaeton, Latin Pop, Bachata and Salsa across two rooms at Club Colette.
Latino Fest returns to Birmingham on Saturday 31 October, taking over Club Colette for a Halloween special. It's a two-room night that runs from 11pm until 4am, with more than 600 people expected to turn up. The organisers are encouraging everyone to come in their spookiest fits and costumes, so if you've got a Halloween outfit you've been waiting to wear, this is a good place to bring it out.
The music is split across two rooms, each with its own direction. Room 1 runs the full length of the night, 11pm to 4am, and covers reggaeton, Latin pop, baile funk, dembow and guaracha. Room 2 opens a bit later and closes earlier, running from 11:30pm to 2am, and focuses on bachata, salsa and merengue. If you're more into the dancefloor classics than the newer club sounds, that's the room to spend your time in before it wraps up.
There's a bit of a birthday perk to keep in mind: if your birthday falls between 21 October and 10 November, you can claim free entry by emailing latinofestuk@gmail.com with the subject 'Latino Halloween Birmingham'. It's worth checking your dates before you buy a ticket.

On the practical side, the night is strictly over-18s, and you'll need ID at the door. Club Colette is at 5 Lower Trinity Street, Deritend, B9 4AG, and the music keeps going until 4am, though last entry is 2:30am, so don't leave it too late if you're heading in after midnight.
