Laid - James Tribute Band

Laid are playing The Castle & Falcon on Friday 16 October, a night dedicated to the music of James. They're a tribute band, so the whole set is built around his songs rather than their own material. If you've spent any time with his records, you'll know the sort of thing that'll be on the bill.

It's a single-act night, so the focus stays on the tribute throughout. The set will pull from across his catalogue, and since it's a tribute, the aim is to recreate the sound of the original recordings live. If you're a fan of his work, it's a chance to hear those songs played in a room rather than through a speaker.

The venue is The Castle & Falcon, over at 402 Moseley Rd, B12 9AT. It's a well-known spot in the city, and this is a standalone date there on a Friday night. If you're heading in from elsewhere, it's worth keeping the Moseley location in mind when you're planning your evening.

Things get going at 7:00 pm, and tickets start from £16.75. With the start time and the venue sorted, you've got the basics for the night: Laid at The Castle & Falcon on Friday 16 October, starting at 7:00 pm, with tickets from £16.75.
