Kasabian live their ninth studio album Act III, with special guests The Vaccines, on their UK arena tour.
Kasabian are playing Utilita Arena Birmingham on Friday 11 December, with The Vaccines supporting. It's one of five UK arena dates on their Nothing Better Than This tour, which also stops in Glasgow, Cardiff, London and Manchester, with a Dublin date to be announced later. The Vaccines open the night, so you'll get two bands for the price of one.
The set is built around Act III, their ninth studio album. It's ten tracks of guitar-driven, psyche-infused pop, with three interludes woven in between. Serge Pizzorno and Mark Ralph produced it at The Sergery and Club Ralph, and it follows a run of seven consecutive number-one albums on the UK Official Album Chart. The tour is the first time they're taking the new material into the arenas.
They're coming off a big summer of headlining main stages at festivals like Leeds, Boardmasters, Victorious and Mad Cool, and a sold-out headline show at London's Finsbury Park in front of 45,000 fans. This run is a shift from those open-air dates, bringing the new songs into the arena format instead.
