Interactive Christmas Pickling Class

Lar.Da is hosting an interactive Christmas pickling masterclass on Wednesday 11 November, led by expert Carl. The whole evening is built around the craft of pickling, with Carl teaching the essential techniques for making bold, tangy accompaniments tailored for Christmas cheese boards and festive spreads. It's a hands-on session, so you'll be doing the work yourself rather than just watching from the side.

While the tutorial is the main event, there's more to it than just the pickling. Seasonal mulled drinks and warm festive storytelling run alongside the class, and you'll take home your own jars of pickles plus reusable glass containers to keep pickling at home long after the night is over. A sit-down dinner rounds off the session, and a fully licensed bar is on hand throughout the evening.

It's not just for adults, either: under-16s are welcome as long as they're with a parent or guardian, and there's free parking on site. The venue is Lar.Da, 1651 Pershore Road, Unit 5F, Stirchley, B30 3DR, Birmingham. Doors open at 6:30pm, the masterclass and dinner run from 7:00pm, and the night wraps up between 9:00 and 9:30pm.
