The 2026/27 HYROX UK & Ireland season kicks off at the NEC with elite fitness racing in solo, Doubles and Relay formats, plus a Youngstars race for 8-15 year olds.
HYROX Birmingham takes over NEC Campus from 27 October to 1 November, and it's more than just a single day's thing. It's the start of the 2026/27 HYROX UK & Ireland season, so it's the first time the race is out on the calendar for the year. The whole thing runs across six days, and the main event is split into three formats: solo, Doubles, and Relay. If you've never done it, the solo is the one you've probably seen most — just you against the clock — while Doubles lets you team up with a partner, and Relay is for when you've got a group. You can pick the one that fits how you like to train.
There's also a HYROX Youngstars race for the next generation, open to athletes aged 8 to 15. They get their own start on 31 October and 1 November, so the younger ones have their own dedicated window towards the end of the week rather than being mixed in with the main field. Between the three formats and the Youngstars race, there's a lot of ground covered over those six days.

Everything is based at the NEC Campus, specifically in Hall 5. The campus itself stays open Tuesday to Saturday from 6:30am to 10:30pm, and on Sunday from 6:30am to 9:30pm, so there's plenty of room to get in and out around your own schedule. Tickets range from £15 to £125, depending on which format you go for.
