High Fade, the three-man funk, disco and dance band from Edinburgh, play The Castle & Falcon in Balsall Heath.
High Fade bring their Twice As Nice Tour 2026 to The Castle & Falcon on Friday 30 October. They're a three-man band from Edinburgh, and this is one of the dates on their 2026 run. They'll be joined on the bill by bobbie dazzle.
If you haven't come across them, High Fade are Harry Valentino, Heath Campbell and Oliver Sentance. They've spent their time honing their sound on the streets of Edinburgh and have played over a thousand gigs since they started. What they do is a razor-sharp blend of funk, disco and dance music, and that combination has picked up a fair few high-profile fans along the way: Jack Black, Cypress Hill, Deep Purple's Glenn Hughes and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine are among them. It's a broad spread of names, but it points to the kind of energy they bring to a room.

The trio describe themselves as being at their best up close and personal with audiences, which fits the setting here. The Castle & Falcon is over in Balsall Heath West, at 402 Moseley Rd, Birmingham B12 9AT. Doors open at 19:00, so you've got plenty of time to get sorted before things get going. With bobbie dazzle on the bill as well, it's a full night of live music rather than just a single set.
