Freya Skye, the former UK Junior Eurovision 2022 representative, plays the O2 Academy Birmingham on her first headlining tour, The Stars Align Tour.
Freya Skye plays the O2 Academy Birmingham on Monday 9 November, part of her first headlining tour, The Stars Align Tour. It's a Birmingham date on a tour that sees her taking the lead on her own bill for the first time, and the set will draw from her latest work.
If you're not familiar with her, Skye is an English singer and actress who first stepped into the spotlight representing the UK in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2022. Since then, she's signed to Hollywood Records and secured a talent deal with Disney Branded Television, and she's been as active on screen as she has been in the studio. She's appeared in The Next Step and made her film debut as Nova Bright, the fearless day walker from Sunnyside, in Disney's Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires, and guest-starred in the second season of Wizards Beyond Waverly Place.
On the music side, she's been releasing singles since 2020, including 'Gold's Gone', 'Who I Thought I Knew' and 'Can't Fake It', and put out her debut EP, Stardust, earlier this year. The Birmingham show is part of The Stars Align Tour, her first headlining run, and fans have compared her sound to Taylor Swift. It's a night that brings together the singles she's been building up over the last few years and the newer material from Stardust.
