Loki Wine is hosting a Fine Wine Tasting – Bordeaux at their Great Western Arcade spot on Friday 27 November, and as the name says, the whole evening is built around Bordeaux wines. It's a focused tasting, so you'll be working your way through a selection from one of the most famous wine regions in the world rather than jumping across different countries.
The night is run by Loki Wine Bar & Tasting House, which does a broad range of wine events throughout the year. They go from relaxed cheese and wine tastings to in-depth masterclasses, winemaker evenings and special dinners, so this sits right in the middle of that mix. All their tastings are led by in-house wine educator Radu Vasile, who'll be the one guiding you through the glasses and talking you through what you're tasting.
If you haven't been before, the tasting rooms are in the Great Western Arcade in the city centre, though they also have sites in Edgbaston and Knowle. This one is the arcade, so it's right in the heart of town. It's a good spot for a Friday evening, and since it's a dedicated tasting, you'll be sitting down and taking your time with the wines rather than standing around.
