Eric Clapton

Eric Clapton plays bp pulse LIVE on Monday 17 May 2027, the only Birmingham date in a small run of UK shows. It's the first of five UK dates he's announced for 2027, with the other four spread across four nights at London's Royal Albert Hall.

The show comes after a busy 2026 touring schedule that started with two warm-up dates in Guildford in April and ended at the Crossroads Guitar Festival in Austin, Texas. In between, he played spring dates across the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Spain and Germany, and a six-city US tour in September. So, by the time he reaches Birmingham in May, he'll have been on the road for over a year.

Clapton's name carries a lot of weight from the early days: he's known for his work with the Yardbirds, Blind Faith and Cream, and he built a solo career that's often described as unparalleled. He's picked up countless awards and accolades along the way, and he's regarded as one of the most important musicians of our time, still drawing sold-out audiences worldwide. The Birmingham show is one of five UK dates he's announced for 2027, with the other four taking place across four nights at London's Royal Albert Hall.

On the night, the music comes from Eric Clapton himself. Doors open at 6:00 PM, and the show starts at 7:30 PM at bp pulse LIVE in Birmingham.
