Ed Cosens

Ed Cosens is playing Kitchen Garden Cafe on Friday 6 November, a stand-up comedy night in Birmingham. He's the sole name on the bill, so it's a full set from him rather than a mixed line-up with a few different acts sharing the stage.

If you're not familiar with his work, he's a stand-up comic who's been touring the UK circuit, and this is a proper headline show. It's a single-act night, so the whole evening is his to fill, which is a different thing from the shorter sets you'll find at a comedy club with three or four different comics on the bill. The set starts at 19:30, and since he's the only one performing, that's when the comedy gets going.

The venue is Kitchen Garden Cafe, over in B14 7SA, which puts it in the south of the city. It's a cafe that doubles as a space for live events, so it's a more low-key setting than a dedicated comedy club or a theatre. If you're coming from the city centre, it's a bit of a trip out, so it's worth checking your route before you set off.

Tickets are £16.50, and the show starts at 19:30 on Friday 6 November at Kitchen Garden Cafe, B14 7SA.
