Eastenderz Halloween

East End Dubs bring their Halloween special to Lab11 on Saturday 31 October, as part of their wider tour. It's a daytime one, running from 15:00 to 23:00, so you're in and out well before midnight.

Lab11 is over in Digbeth on Trent Street, and it's been a fixture of the area since it opened in 2012. The terrace is the main draw here, built around a six-point Funktion-One EVO6 system that does the heavy lifting for the room. If you've been before, you'll know the setup: the sound is the focus, and the terrace keeps things open.

There are a couple of things to keep in mind before you head down. The dress code is trainers and jeans, and they're strict about it — tracksuits, sportswear, football shirts and flip-flops are all banned, so don't turn up in them. It's also an over-18s night, so you'll need ID on you.

Tickets start from £25, and with the 15:00 start, it's a good shout if you'd rather have your Saturday night free than be out until the early hours. The whole thing wraps up by 23:00.
