A haunted night of Cantonese pop disco classics remixed with house and bass, ahead of Halloween, with a Hong Kong style dress code.
DIS: CANTO brings a Cantonese pop disco night to O'Neill's Broad Street on Saturday 17 October, a haunted one ahead of Halloween. The night is built around Cantonese pop classics remixed with house and bass, so it's less of a nostalgia trip and more of a dancefloor thing. If you know the songs, you'll recognise them; if you don't, they're just house and bass beats to move to.
DJ Zephyr is the confirmed name on the decks, with more to be announced. The dress code is Hong Kong style (港風), and the organisers are encouraging people to lean into the Halloween side of things: turn up as a Hong Kong movie ghost or in your best Canto pop fit. It's a night that asks you to dress up, so it's worth thinking about your outfit before you head out.
