Desi Addiction - Brown & Boujee

Desi Addiction brings their Brown & Boujee daytime party back to The Alchemist Brindleyplace on Sunday 1 November, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. It's a regular on the city's social calendar, returning each November to one of Birmingham's more elegant spots, and it's billed as a summer party in the heart of Brindley Place with top-tier DJs and the city's finest crowd.

The music is where the different threads come together: Punjabi, R&B, Afro Beats and House on the decks, with the whole thing described as merging the heat, soul and spirit of Punjabi, Afro and RnB culture. It's a daytime affair, so you're in and out while it's still light, and the venue runs a brunch menu and signature cocktails alongside the music. It started at The Alchemist as a launch party with summer terrace vibes, and since then it's settled into a regular spot in the city's calendar.

There are a few things to keep in mind before you head down. The dress code is 'dress to impress', and they're strict about it: sportswear, bubble trainers and caps aren't permitted, so it's a night for getting dressed up rather than keeping it casual. Entry is strictly 18+, and you'll need a physical valid ID to get in. Also, keep in mind that tickets don't include food or drinks, so you'll be paying for those on the day.

Tickets run from £9.50 to £13.50, and the party runs from 3:00pm to 7:00pm on Sunday 1 November at The Alchemist Brindleyplace, 10F-12F The Water's Edge, Brindley Pl, Birmingham B1 2HL.
