Create Space: Trojan Takeover

The Trojan crew take over Create Space on Wednesday 28 October, bringing their electronic music session to The Drop Inn in Birmingham. It's a one-night takeover, and it sits within the venue's Halloween open-mic, so the night is part of a wider run of music rather than a standalone gig.

For the uninitiated, Create Space is the open-mic night that runs at The Drop Inn, and the Trojan crew are the ones stepping in to run the show for the evening. The focus is electronic music, and the whole thing is free to get into, so it's as much about showing up and listening as it is about the music itself. If you're into the electronic side of things, it's a straightforward way to spend a Wednesday night without having to worry about tickets.

It's a mid-week one, and it falls right in the Halloween window, which fits the mood of the takeover. The Drop Inn is over at 77 Upper Trinity Street, B9 4EG, so it's easy enough to find if you're already around the city. Doors open at 19:00, and since it's a free entry, you can just turn up on the night.
