Craig David brings his Born To Do It 25th Anniversary tour to Utilita Arena Birmingham on Monday 10 May 2027. It's part of a European run, and it follows two sold-out nights at London's Hammersmith Apollo earlier this year.
The whole show is built around his debut album, Born To Do It, which came out in 2000 and spent more than 70 weeks on the charts. He's playing the record front to back with his band, and it's the first time he's done the album in full. If you've got the CD or the digital version, you'll recognise the order; he's running through the songs as they appear on the record, one after another, rather than picking out a few singles.
It's a good way to see where it all started. Across his solo career, David has sold over 15 million records worldwide, earned fourteen Brit Award nominations — five of those for Best British Male — and picked up two Grammy nominations for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance. He's put 20 singles and seven albums into the UK Top 40, so there's a fair bit of ground behind the debut, but this night is focused on that first one.
