Country music artist Cody Johnson performs live at the Utilita Arena Birmingham, with special guests Parker McCollum and Emily Ann Roberts.
Cody Johnson plays Utilita Arena Birmingham on Sunday 1 November, with Parker McCollum and Emily Ann Roberts as special guests. It's a full bill, so you'll get three acts in one night rather than just the headliner.
Johnson is an American country artist who's built his name on live shows and a high-energy stage presence. He's a platinum recording artist with Warner Music Nashville, with three albums behind him: Human, The Double Album, and A Cody Johnson Christmas. He also put out a feature-length documentary, Dear Rodeo: The Cody Johnson Story, which looks at his life and career. The numbers add up to 17 RIAA certifications, a Pandora Billionaire Award, and nearly 5 billion global streams. He's been named CMT Artist of the Year, won three CMT Music Awards and two CMA Awards, and took home Best New Country Artist at the iHeart Music Awards.
There's a new record to look forward to, too. He recently released 'The Painter', the first single from his third studio album, which comes out on 3 November — just two days after the Birmingham show. So you'll likely hear some of that new material live before the album is even out. One of his most recent high-profile moments was at the 2023 CMT Music Awards, where he sang lead on an all-star tribute to Lynyrd Skynyrd alongside Billy Gibbons, Chuck Leavell, Paul Rodgers, Slash, Warren Haynes, LeAnn Rimes, and Wynonna Judd.
