Cocktails & Canvas @ Deep Jamaican!

Cocktails & Canvas comes to Deep Experience Jamaican Grill and Bar on Friday 4 December, starting at 18:00. It's a sip-and-paint evening, so you'll be painting on canvas with a cocktail in hand, and it's the first session of its kind at this particular venue.

The night is titled Icons Never Fade, and it's part of the Artsy Party Brum series, which pairs cocktails with canvas painting in a social setting. The idea is pretty straightforward: you get a canvas and some paint, a drink to keep you going, and a few hours to work on your piece while chatting with whoever you've come with. It's more about the process than the finished product, so it works whether you've never touched a brush before or you've got a bit of experience.

Deep Experience Jamaican Grill and Bar is at 34 Bristol Street, B5 7AA, and the session kicks off at 18:00 on the Friday. Tickets are sold through Eventbrite, so you'll want to get yours sorted in advance rather than turning up on the night. If you're looking for something to do on a weekday evening that's a bit different from the usual pub or cinema trip, this fits the bill.
