A live concert performance of the Hans Zimmer score from the BBC series Blue Planet III, hosted by Elizabeth White with underwater footage on a large LED screen.
Blue Planet III Live in Concert comes to bp pulse LIVE on Saturday 22 May 2027, bringing the world of the BBC series to the arena stage. The evening is hosted by the series Executive Producer Elizabeth White, who's spent more than two decades at the BBC Studios Natural History Unit. She'll be sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the production while specially curated underwater footage plays across a 200 square metre Ultra HD LED screen.
The music is the Hans Zimmer score, performed live by the City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. Zimmer's work on the series was written with Thom Lukas and Laurentia Editha for Bleeding Fingers Music, and having the full orchestra play it in the room is the main draw here. It's a concert that pairs the scale of the music with the visuals on screen, so you're hearing the score as it was intended rather than through a speaker.
The show is presented by FKP Scorpio Entertainment UK under licence from BBC Studios and forms part of a UK arena tour that also calls at Manchester's AO Arena and Glasgow's OVO Hydro, with a London date to be announced. It's staged by the same team that brought the series to life on BBC One and iPlayer, so the production is handled by the people who know the material best.
