Halloween cocktail masterclass led by Alfred Works mixologists, where over-18s craft two potion-inspired cocktails with Whitley Neill gins.
Alfred Works is hosting a Halloween cocktail masterclass called The Dark Side of the Bar on Sunday 25 October, from 13:30 to 15:30. It's part of Blend & Shake, a new series of classes at the venue that takes you behind the velvet curtain of premium mixology, with the venue's own expert mixologists leading the way.
This Halloween edition is built around hauntingly vibrant flavours and hands-on shaking, with insider tips on how to balance complex flavour profiles. You'll craft two potion-inspired cocktails using Whitley Neill's award-winning artisanal gins, and you'll leave with custom-designed recipe cards so you can recreate them at home. It's a two-hour session, so there's plenty of time to get your hands dirty rather than just watching someone else do the work.

Alfred Works itself is a 17,500 sq ft food hall in the historic Custard Factory in Digbeth, home to 15 independent kitchens, social gaming zones and a cultural events programme. If you've never been, it's a good spot to hang around before or after the class, especially with the food hall on hand. The session is for over-18s, and tickets are £16.96.
