Metalcore and hardcore night headlined by Avicide, with Azaleas, Born Hostile, Black Autumn and In Winters Grasp.
Avicide play The Victoria on Thursday 15 October, with doors opening at 19:00. They're the main draw on a five-band bill that also features Azaleas, Born Hostile, Black Autumn and In Winters Grasp.
Avicide are a metalcore and hardcore band based in Bristol, fronted by Thomas Wood, Hattie Cowley and Danny Woods. They describe their sound as built around powerful vocals, brutal breakdowns and modern metalcore riffs, pairing morbid lyrics with distinctive guitar work. The trio draws from metalcore, hardcore, metal and post-hardcore, so it's a night that sits squarely in the heavier end of things.
With five bands on the bill, there's a fair bit to get through before the headliners take the stage. Azaleas, Born Hostile, Black Autumn and In Winters Grasp all play before Avicide, so it's a full evening of music rather than just a single set. If you're only coming for the main act, you might want to keep an eye on the running order.
