Singer and guitarist Andy Mac brings a repertoire from the 60s to the present day, with a love for modern floor-fillers, country and 80s and 90s classics.
Andy Mac plays Joe Joe Jims on Sunday 25 October, a singer and guitarist with more than twenty years of live performance experience. His set runs from the 1960s to the present day, and he describes a particular fondness for modern floor-fillers, country and the music of the 1980s and 1990s.
That range comes through in the names he lists: Sam Fender and The Killers alongside Culture Club, Foo Fighters, The Proclaimers and Chappell Roan. It's a broad reach that spans decades and genres, and he works across different formats too. His shows range from laid-back acoustic arrangements and creative medleys to upbeat, high-energy party sets, so the mood can shift depending on the room.
Joe Joe Jims is an accessible venue, with a level front entrance and a raised disabled guest area reached by ramp. Admission is general with no assigned seating, and last entry is 10.30pm. If you've already got tickets for the Friday or Saturday gig, you can attend this Sunday afternoon session free of charge, subject to capacity.
