Football entertainment show with Dion Dublin, Clinton Morrison and Paul Merson, hosted by Pete Graves, with a three-course dinner, auction and raffle.
The Football Characters are coming to Edgbaston Stadium on Thursday 26 November, with arrival from 6.30pm. It's a long one — around five and a half hours in total — and it's not just a talk. There's a three-course dinner, an auction, and a raffle, and the bar stays open until midnight, so it's more of a full evening out than a quick drop-in.
The line-up brings together three of football's biggest personalities: Dion Dublin, Clinton Morrison, and Paul Merson. They're known for their honesty, their humour, and the stories they picked up at the top of the game. Sky Sports presenter Pete Graves hosts the night, guiding the conversation and drawing out dressing-room secrets, transfer sagas, and hot topics. Between the three of them, there's a huge amount of ground to cover.
Dion Dublin had an 18-year professional career, won the Premier League with Manchester United in 1992-93, and finished as a joint Premier League Golden Boot winner in 1997-98. Clinton Morrison scored 175 goals across nearly 20 years, more than 100 for Crystal Palace, and earned 36 caps for the Republic of Ireland. Paul Merson, known as 'Merse', was a key figure in Arsenal's success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and won 21 England caps. It's that mix of eras and clubs that should keep the stories coming.
