Halloween night celebrating the Mexican Día de los Muertos at The Rainbow Basement in Digbeth.
Alma is back at The Rainbow Basement on Saturday 31 October, with a Halloween night built around the colours, energy and spirit of the Mexican Día de los Muertos. It's a return to the basement in Digbeth, a room described as a true home for Birmingham's electronic music community, and the Rainbow Pub itself is the organiser.
If you've been around the city's club scene, you'll know the basement. It's tucked under the Rainbow Pub on High Street in Digbeth, and it's a space that's earned its reputation as a proper spot for electronic music. This particular night takes that setting and wraps it in the imagery of Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, so it's a Halloween celebration that looks to Mexico rather than the usual ghosts and ghouls. The whole thing is billed as 'ALMA IS BACK - DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS'.

It's a Saturday night, so it's an easy one to build a proper evening around. The Rainbow Pub is the one putting it on, and the basement is where the music happens. If you're coming from outside Digbeth, it's 160 High Street, B12 0LD. The night kicks off at 8pm, and tickets start from £16.77.
