Live show by the power trio Airbag from Estepona, with Lesoir, at the O2 Academy Birmingham.
Airbag play O2 Academy Birmingham on Friday 23 October, with Lesoir opening the bill. It's a Friday night in the city, and the venue is the O2 Academy 2, part of the larger complex over at 16-18 Horsefair.
If the name doesn't ring a bell, it's worth knowing which Airbag this is. There are a few bands sharing the name, but this one is a power trio that formed in 1998 in Estepona, Málaga. They've been playing together for nearly three decades now, and the line-up is Jose on drums, Adolfo on vocals and guitar, and Pepe on backing vocals and bass. That's the whole band on stage: drums, guitar, and bass, with the vocals split between Adolfo and Pepe.
Lesoir takes the opening slot, so there's two acts on the bill rather than just one. It's a straightforward night of live music, with the Málaga trio as the main draw. If you're coming from outside the city centre, the venue is right in the heart of Birmingham, easy enough to get to on a Friday evening.

Doors open at 19:00, and the curfew is 23:00, so there's plenty of time to get in and settled before the music starts. With Lesoir opening and Airbag following, you've got two bands to hear across the night.
