ABBA Ever After

ABBA Ever After bring their ABBA tribute to Fletchers Bar & Eatery on Sunday 27 December, just a few days after Christmas. It's a matinee, so it's one of those things you can do in the middle of the day and still be home for dinner.

If you're not familiar with the name, it's exactly what it says on the tin: a tribute to ABBA. The whole set is built around their songs, so you'll hear the tracks you know from the records played live. It's a full show, not just a few songs tucked into a longer night, and since it's a tribute, the focus is entirely on the ABBA catalogue. If you've spent the last few days listening to Gold or Arrival on repeat, this is the live version of that.

Fletchers is over in Kings Heath, at 7 York Road, B14 7SA. It's a bar and eatery, so it's a spot that does food as well as drinks, which makes it easy to make a proper afternoon of it if you fancy eating before or after the music. Being a Sunday matinee, it's a bit different from the usual evening gig — you're in and out while it's still light outside.

Doors open at 1:00pm, and the show starts at 2:00pm, so there's plenty of time to get settled in before the first song. Tickets start from £11.
