Over-18s daytime disco with nonstop 90s anthems across pop, R&B and rock, with last entry at 5pm.
The 90s Day Party comes to Rosies on Saturday 24 October, a daytime disco that runs from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. It's a proper afternoon session, so you're in and out well before midnight rather than nursing a hangover on a Sunday morning. The music is nonstop 90s anthems across pop, R&B and rock, with the set drawing on the decade's biggest hits.
That's a broad reach, and the playlist reflects it. You'll hear the big pop voices of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Celine Dion and the Spice Girls, alongside Madonna and Michael Jackson. The R&B side brings Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., while the rock and indie end of the spectrum covers Nirvana, Green Day, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Radiohead. Fatboy Slim sits somewhere in the middle, and the whole thing is built around the dance-floor throwbacks of the nineties.
It's strictly for over-18s, so you'll need a valid photographic ID to get in. Last entry is at 5:00pm, which means if you're running late, you've still got a few hours of music ahead of you. Tickets follow festival-style tiered pricing, starting at £12.50 and going up to £22.50, so the earlier you book, the less you'll pay. If you're bringing a crowd, there's a 'Big Group Package' discount for groups of ten or more.
