Halloween party with a Desi twist, with Bhangra, Bollywood, Desi Beats and R&B from DJ SIMZ and special guests.
Desibull are taking over Rosies on Broad Street for a Halloween special on Wednesday 28 October. It's called Desibull Halloween XXtra, and they're billing it as 'Halloween With A Desi Twist' — a night that leans into the holiday with a heavy dose of Bhangra, Bollywood, Desi beats and R&B. If you're used to the standard spooky party, this is a bit of a departure: they've mixed in Indian ghosts and a bit of comedy alongside the music, so it's as much about the theme as it is about the dancefloor.
On the decks is DJ Simz, who'll be steering the night with a mix of Bhangra, Bollywood, Desi beats and R&B. The 'special guests' part of the title is still a bit of a teaser, but they're listed as part of the line-up, so there should be more than just the DJ to keep things moving. Between the music and the comedy, it's shaped as a full night out rather than just a quick stop.
