Monthly one-hour wellbeing session led by Chi Me while looking at the Ulster Museum's collections.
Wellbeing Wednesdays are back at the Ulster Museum on Wednesday 4 November, part of a monthly series that runs on the first Wednesday of the month. This one is a one-hour session, 11:00 to 12:00, and it combines Chi Me with a slow, attentive look at the museum's collections.
Chi Me is a gentle, mindful movement practice, and that's the first half of the morning. The second half is about taking that same quiet attention and turning it towards the objects around you. It's less about rushing through the galleries and more about stopping in front of a few pieces and really noticing them, rather than just glancing past. The two parts work together: the movement settles you in, and the looking carries that stillness over into the art.
It's a regular thing, so if you can't make this one, there's another session on Wednesday 2 December. The series usually takes place in the Belfast Room, but the 4 November session is in Art 5, so you'll be right in the middle of the art when it's time to look. Both are an hour long, 11:00 to 12:00, on the first Wednesday of the month.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Belfast and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.

If you're in Belfast and fancy a slow morning with the collections, the next two are Wednesday 4 November in Art 5 and Wednesday 2 December in the Belfast Room, both 11:00 to 12:00.
