The Summer Series: Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators

Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators play Custom House Square on Sunday 4 July, as part of The Summer Series. It's a proper open-air date in the heart of the city, and given the timing, it'll be one of those early July afternoons when the weather actually holds.

For anyone who's followed Slash since his Guns N' Roses days, this is the band he's been fronting for years. Myles Kennedy takes the vocals, and The Conspirators provide the rhythm section around him. It's a hard-rocking outfit that leans into the classic sound he's known for, with Kennedy's voice sitting right on top of those big riffs. If you've only ever known him as the top hat and the Les Paul, this is the group he's been touring and recording with for a long while now.

Custom House Square is an outdoor space, so it's a different kind of gig from the usual indoor rooms around town. It's a good spot for a Sunday, and with the date falling in early July, it's one of the first outdoor shows of the season. The Summer Series is the umbrella it sits under, and this is the act they've got lined up for the day.

So, it's Slash featuring Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators at Custom House Square on Sunday 4 July. If you're into hard rock and fancy a gig in the open air, that's the one.
