Musical about the rise of Simon & Garfunkel, with a live band performing their hits and original film footage.
The Simon & Garfunkel Story comes to the Grand Opera House in Belfast from Monday 16 November to Wednesday 18 November, with matinees at 2:30pm and evening shows at 7:30pm. It's a musical that traces the origins and rise of Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, and it doesn't just tell their story through narration — a full live band performs their hits throughout.
Among the songs they play are 'Mrs Robinson', 'Cecilia', 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' and 'Homeward Bound'. The music is paired with large projection photos and original film footage, so you get the visual history of the duo alongside the songs. It's a production that's toured internationally, playing in over 50 countries, with more than 20 headline runs in London's West End, including several at the London Palladium. The Stage called it 'Authentic and Exciting', and Elaine Paige described it as 'Fantastic'.
