The Fratellis play The Limelight 1 in Belfast with support from Trampolene for their 20 Years of Costello Music tour.
The Fratellis play The Limelight on Friday 22 October 2027, as part of their 20 Years of Costello Music tour. The show marks two decades since their 2006 debut album, Costello Music, which hit number two in the UK, earned a BRIT Award and gave the world 'Chelsea Dagger', 'Henrietta' and 'Whistle for the Choir'. Hot Press reported it spent 83 weeks in the UK Top 100, and it's been played on terraces, in student unions and at wedding discos ever since.
The Glasgow band is fronted by brothers Jon, Mince and Barry Fratelli, who in their early years opened for The Strokes and The Killers. This particular tour is built around that first record, so you'll hear the songs that put them on the map. Support comes from Trampolene, a Swansea-formed alternative rock band fronted by poet Jack Jones, known for live shows that blend indie rock with spoken word and for the track 'Storm Heaven'.

The gig is in Limelight 1, the 1,000-capacity room on Ormeau Avenue. The Limelight opened in 1987 in a converted industrial building and was refurbished in 2012. The Fratellis play The Academy in Dublin the following night, presented by MCD, so this is their Belfast stop on the run. It starts at 7pm.
