Premium festive adventure at W5 where children meet Santa's reindeer, make reindeer food, visit the elves' workshop and have a one-to-one with Santa.
Santa's Workshop opens at W5 on 28 November, and it's a separate ticket from the museum's general admission. It runs across three blocks: 28-29 November, 4-6 December, and 11-23 December, with slots from 10:00am to 6:00pm. Pre-booking is essential, and the last admission is two hours before closing, so don't leave it too late in the day.
The walk takes families into the heart of the North Pole, following twinkling lights to Santa's snowy workshop. Along the way, you stop at the Reindeer Stables to meet his reindeer and prepare your own bag of magical reindeer food, then power the Christmas Spirit Generator and explore the elves' workshop before a one-to-one visit with Santa in his Grotto. Every child leaves with a gift: those aged two and over bring their own teddy bear to life in Santa's Toy Workshop, while toddlers are given a North Pole friend prepared by the elves, whom they can name outside and for whom the elves issue an official personalised birth certificate.

The workshop sits inside the wider Christmas at W5 season, which turns the museum into a winter wonderland. There are more than 250 hands-on exhibits to get stuck into, indoor snowball fights at Over The Hills, a festive Science Bar, a Christmassy Climbit, and the Jingle All the Way Cafe for when you need a break. Because the workshop is sold separately, you can add it to a full day at the museum or make it the main event. It's £25 per child aged two and over, £10 per toddler under two, and £15 per adult.
