Russell Watson returns to the Grand Opera House with classical masterpieces, musical theatre favourites and highlights from his own catalogue, with guest artist Nancy May.
Russell Watson returns to the Grand Opera House on Wednesday 21 April 2027, his first Belfast date since a sell-out show there in 2026. He's performing with guest artist Nancy May, and the whole thing is billed as An Intimate Evening With The Voice.
If you're not familiar with the name, Watson is one of Britain's best-known classical crossover artists, with more than seven million albums sold over a career that's now run for over 26 years. The nickname 'The Voice' has stuck with him for a good while, and that's the voice he'll be bringing back to the city.
The set mixes classical masterpieces with favourites from the musicals, and he'll be drawing from his own catalogue too. It's a broad reach, so you'll hear the crossover style he's built his career on — classical songs and musical theatre songs sitting side by side. The show runs for two hours and twenty minutes, including an interval, so there's plenty of room for both halves of the programme to breathe.

It's a mid-week date, with the performance starting at 7:30pm. Tickets are between £60.00 and £47.50, and that includes the maximum applicable per-ticket booking fee, so there aren't any surprises added on at the end. If you're planning to go, it's worth keeping in mind that his last Belfast show sold out, and this one is a good way into the crossover world if you've never seen him live before.
