Rod Stewart brings his farewell 'The Final Encore' tour to SSE Arena Belfast, with electronic pioneer Howard Jones as special guest.
Rod Stewart brings The Final Encore to The O2 Belfast on Tuesday 27 April 2027, with electronic pioneer Howard Jones as special guest. The tour is billed as the culmination of Stewart's live career: after more than six decades on stage, he says it will most definitely be his last tour, though he adds he has 'no desire to retire'.
It's a long run to look back on. Stewart has been singing since he was 19, fronting the pioneering Jeff Beck Group and the Faces, and has since sold more than 250 million records worldwide. The numbers run deep: 31 UK Top 10 singles, 16 US Top 10 hits, 11 number-one UK albums and four number-one US albums. He's a 15-time Grammy nominee, a Grammy Living Legend and a two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee. His most recent tour ranked No. 8 on Pollstar's Global Concert Pulse in early 2026, so he's coming into this one while still very much in demand.
Support comes from Howard Jones, who burst onto the scene in 1983 with 'New Song' and the smash hits 'What Is Love?', 'Things Can Only Get Better' and 'Life In One Day', and has sold upwards of 10 million albums. Between the two of them, it's a fair bit of ground to cover in one night.
