Spook-tacular night of pumpkin carving with templates, utensils and a seasonal beverage, with prizes for the best pumpkin.
Voodoo is hosting a pumpkin carving night on Tuesday 27 October, right in the heart of Belfast. It's a dedicated evening for getting a pumpkin sorted before Halloween, and they've got the basics covered so you don't have to bring your own kit from home.
They're providing templates to follow if you're not the type to freehand a face, along with the utensils you'll need to hollow out the guts and cut your design. There's a seasonal beverage included too, which should keep you going while you're working. If you're not confident with a knife, the templates take the guesswork out of it, and having the tools on hand means you won't be hunting for a decent carving knife in your kitchen drawer.
There's a competitive side to the night as well, with prizes for the best pumpkins. It's a good excuse to put a bit of effort into yours, and if you're going with a group, it turns into a bit of a contest between tables. Whether you're aiming for something genuinely creepy or just a classic grinning face, there's a reward on the line for the ones that stand out.
Every week we pick 🏆 the 5 best 🏆 things to do in Belfast and send them to your inbox. Just one weekly email, no spam.
