Motown Christmas Party Night

Soul Collective are taking over La Mon Hotel & Country Club on Saturday 19 November for a Motown Christmas party night. It's a dinner and a show, with a main-course meal and a full set of soul, funk and Motown anthems. The night is built around the classics you know, with the band bringing them to the stage with powerhouse vocals and big-band energy.

They describe it as an interactive cabaret, so it's not a sit-and-listen kind of thing — the whole point is to sing, clap and dance along. The setlist pulls from the Motown and soul songbooks, and the big-band sound keeps it leaning towards the dancefloor rather than the dining table. It's pitched as a feel-good, soul-filled Christmas party, and they've framed it as something that works for staff parties, client entertainment or just a festive night out with friends.

Because it's a dinner and a show, you've got the meal and the music in one go. The main course is part of the ticket, so you can eat and then get on with the singing and dancing. The night is built around those Motown and soul anthems, and the big-band energy is what they're bringing to the stage.

Tickets are £49.50, which covers the main-course meal and the show. It's on Saturday 19 November at La Mon Hotel & Country Club in Belfast.
