Live show by Irish singer-songwriter Keith Harkin, former lead singer of Celtic Thunder, at The SSE Arena Belfast.
Keith Harkin plays The SSE Arena on Tuesday 27 October, his first headline show in Belfast since supporting Westlife on their 25th Anniversary World Tour. He's a Derry singer-songwriter now based in Los Angeles, so this is a home-soil return for him.
If you're not familiar with the name, the CV is a long one. Over the last fifteen years he's performed for President Obama at the White House, Sir Richard Branson on Necker Island, the Secretary of State at the Pentagon, and Mohamed Ali at Celebrity Fight Night. He's also sung national anthems at The Garden for the Boston Celtics. He first came to wider attention when Grammy-winning producer David Foster signed him as the first artist to the new Verve Records; his first solo album with Foster and Verve reached number one on the Billboard charts in Canada and the US.
Before that solo run, he was the lead singer of Celtic Thunder, the Irish sensation that put out more than fifteen number-one records worldwide, sold over a million CDs, and filmed numerous PBS specials. He writes all his own material and has since released four solo records, each of which landed in the top ten charts in Canada and the US.
