Manchester five-piece Gustaffson play the Oh Yeah Music Centre with their debut album 'Black & White Movie'.
Gustaffson are playing the Oh Yeah Music Centre on Friday 23 April, from 19:30 to 23:00. They're a five-piece from Manchester who describe their work as redefining what it takes to make 'real music', and they've built a reputation for venue-specific, standalone shows that become calendar-shaping events for their audience. This one is no different.
Their debut album, Black & White Movie, hit number 14 in the Official Record Store Chart and made Rolling Stone's '7 Albums You Need To Hear This Week', drawing praise from Jo Whiley, Chris Hawkins, Guy Garvey and Gaby Roslin, and selling out London's Bush Hall. They closed 2025 with 'Dance To The Algorithm', a single produced by elbow that featured on ITV Granada Introducing and earned them a place in The Manc and Audio North's 'best artists of 2025'. Darkus Magazine named them 'Songwriter & Lyricist of 2025' and RGM Magazine gave them 'Gigs of the year 2025'. They're set to record a second album with elbow's Craig Potter, so there's new material on the horizon.
