Pop-up exhibition recreating the food and dining customs of the Titanic, with a sensory station inspired by the ship's story.
Flavours of Titanic is running at Titanic Belfast from 7 October to 15 November, a food and heritage programme built around the meals that connected everyone on board the ship. The centrepiece is a pop-up exhibition on Level 1, Flavours of Titanic: A Journey Through Taste, Seasoned with Stories, which looks at Edwardian tastes and traditions through the meals passengers across the different classes would have eaten, alongside the ingredients and dining customs of the era. There's a sensory station there too, the 'Smells of Titanic', with scents inspired by the ship's story: freshly brewed tea, crisp apples, coal smoke and salty sea air.
Beyond the exhibition, there are a few specific dates to keep in mind. The Titanic Food and Craft Market gathers local makers at Hamilton Dock on 24 and 25 October, and on 11 November, Hickson's Point hosts a tasting evening called 'From Cacao To Cask' with McConnell's Whisky and Neary Nógs. Throughout the run, local musicians play live on the Sound Stage.

The wider autumn programme also includes a 'Shipyard Fix' cocktail at Hickson's Point, part of Belfast Cocktail Week. Entry to the programme is free, though charges may apply to selected activities and events. The exhibition and the sensory station stay open until 15 November, so you can fit them in whenever suits.
