Free evening visits to Belfast art galleries on the first Thursday of each month, with a session on 5 November and another on 3 December.
Late Night Art is back across various art galleries in Belfast on Thursday 5 November, from 6pm to 9pm. It's a Belfast City Council initiative that opens the city's art galleries to the public for evening visits, and it's free to attend.
If you've never come across it before, the whole thing runs on a simple, recurring pattern: it's traditionally held on the first Thursday of each month, so the galleries stay open late into the evening when they'd usually be shut. That means you can wander through them after work, rather than having to squeeze a visit into a lunch break or a weekend. Because it's spread across different galleries, you can make a proper evening of it, moving from one space to another and seeing what's on without having to commit to just one spot.
It's free entry, so there's no ticket to book and nothing to pay on the door. You just turn up and walk in. If you're in the city on a Thursday evening and fancy a bit of art, it's an easy one to fit in. The galleries are open from 6pm until 9pm, giving you a good three-hour window to see as much as you like.

And it's not just a one-off. The next one is already in the calendar for 3 December, so if you can't make this one, there's another chance coming up shortly after. For now, though, it's Thursday 5 November, 6pm to 9pm, free across various galleries in the city.
