Titanic Belfast's autumn programme of free family activities, including a food and craft market, a Hay Bale Trail, live music and the 'Flavours of Titanic' exhibition.
Titanic Belfast is running Flavours of Autumn from 24 to 31 October, a celebration of the season and Northern Ireland's local producers. It's a free family event, though some specific activities cost extra, and the wider autumn programme continues every weekend until 15 November. The whole thing is about exploring the ship's story through taste, scent and hands-on experiences.
There's a fair bit to work through. The Titanic Food and Craft Market runs on Hamilton Dock on 24 and 25 October, with local names like Irish Black Butter, Maine Soft Drinks, White Water Brewery and Neary Nógs featuring alongside the stalls. If you're taking the kids, there's chocolate apple decorating on the SS Nomadic on 24 and 25 October from 12pm to 2pm, and then in the Grand Atrium on 30 and 31 October from 12pm to 2pm. Local musicians play on the Sound Stage throughout, and the Galley Café does coffee specials.
Inside, two new installations lean into the sensory side of things. Flavours of Titanic: A Journey Through Taste, Seasoned with Stories on Level 1 looks at the food served on board and the people behind it, while the Smells of Titanic sensory station works with scents inspired by the ship. Claire Bacon, Head of Marketing and Engagement, says the programme is about bringing people together by connecting them to the people, places and traditions that shape the heritage.

If you want something a bit more focused, there's a From Cacao To Cask tasting evening at Hickson's Point on 11 November, which is £45 per person. Otherwise, entry to the main event is free, with charges applying only to selected activities.
