Tullamore trio Chasing Abbey blend electronic production with Celtic influences in a live show at the Ulster Hall.
Chasing Abbey are playing Ulster Hall on Sunday 2 May 2027, with the show starting at 7:00 pm. It's the May bank holiday weekend, so it falls right when most of us have the long weekend off. The trio are from Tullamore, and they've built their sound on a mix of electronic production and Celtic influences — big electronic drops alongside Irish melodies.
There are three of them, Ro, Bee and Teddy, and they first met while at school. Since then they've worked as songwriters, producers and multi-instrumentalists, and they've put out several platinum-selling singles. They've spent a good deal of time playing live, too, with headline shows and performances around the world. Their most recent singles, 'Arís is Arís' and 'Íorónta', keep that same blend of contemporary electronic production and Irish influences, and they're expected to be their most successful songs yet.
