Cabaret Christmas Variety Lunch Show

Cabaret Supper Club is running its Christmas Variety Lunch Show on Wednesday 16 December, a festive afternoon that puts the meal and the performance on the same bill. It's built as a two-act affair: the Christmas lunch comes first, and once that's cleared, the cabaret variety show takes over. The main course is included in the ticket, so you're sorted for both halves of the afternoon in one go.

The show itself is built around the club's usual mix of drag, burlesque, comedy, aerial acrobatics and choreographed dance, all under a Christmas theme. It's a variety bill in the truest sense, with the different acts following one another rather than one single performance running the whole way. The venue is an intimate one, and the club describes it as a spot where you're close to the action, so you'll be seeing the drag and the comedy from a few feet away rather than from the back of a theatre.

It's a daytime thing, which makes it a bit different from the usual night out. Doors open at 12:30 PM, giving you plenty of time to get settled and have your lunch before the main show kicks off at 3:00 PM. If you're planning to go, keep in mind that the lunch comes first and the variety show follows, so you'll be there for a good stretch of the afternoon. The whole thing is held at Cabaret Supper Club in Belfast on Wednesday 16 December.
