Aberrant Sounds tiny desk session with Danxgerous, Rose Fatale and Pitfall, covering pop, alternative and grunge.
Aberrant Sounds are back at The A Centre on Saturday 17 October with their seventh Tiny Desk session, and this one brings together three acts from very different corners of the city's music scene. It's a stripped-back format, and the line-up reflects that: Danxgerous, Rose Fatale and Pitfall all share the same bill, so you'll hear pop, alternative and grunge in a single evening.
Danxgerous handles the pop and alternative side of things, while Rose Fatale leans into alternative and punk. Pitfall brings the grunge, so the night moves from the melodic and the punchy to the heavier, distorted end of the spectrum. It's not a single-genre bill, and that's the point of the Tiny Desk sessions — they're designed to put a few different sounds on the same stage rather than sticking to one particular style.
If you're not familiar with the format, it's exactly what the name suggests: a small, intimate setup that keeps things close and focused. It's a good way to catch three acts in one go, especially if you've only ever heard of one of them.
