Z-Ro w/ Quiet Money Dot, Sunnitharapper, J Soulja & DJ Rapid Ric

Z-Ro is playing Antone's Nightclub on Friday, October 9, with Quiet Money Dot, Sunnitharapper, J Soulja, and DJ Rapid Ric on the bill. It's a full night of hip-hop in downtown Austin, and the lineup puts Z-Ro at the center of it.

Antone's is a name that carries a lot of weight around here. It opened in 1975 as Clifford Antone's first venue, and after several relocations, it found a new lease on life in 2016 behind local luminaries including Gary Clark Jr. The current 400-capacity room still houses blues legends and nurtures emerging talents, while the upstairs gallery holds another 300 for special events. Archival photography by Susan Antone and others testifies to the club's indelible history, which keeps alive traditions like the Blue Monday jams, with regular appearances by Soul Man Sam Evans and Lindsay Beaver playing alongside Brad Stivers.

Z-Ro headlines the night, and he's bringing a full crew with him. Quiet Money Dot, Sunnitharapper, and J Soulja are all on the bill, with DJ Rapid Ric on the decks. It's a deep lineup for a single night, so you'll be getting more than just one set. The show is 21 and up, so keep your ID handy.

The concert is on Friday, October 9, at Antone's Nightclub, 305 E. Fifth St., Austin, TX 78701. Doors open at 9 PM, and the music starts at 10 PM.
