Live electronic music session featuring Your Arms Are My Cocoon, Feardorian, Team Alice and Gulfwargameboy at Brushy Street Commons.
Your Arms Are My Cocoon and Feardorian headline a bill at Brushy Street Commons on Friday, October 16, with Team Alice and gulfwargameboy rounding out the lineup. The night is presented by Scarecrow Radio and Tiny Sounds Collective.
Brushy Street Commons is an East Austin spot with a bit of a pedigree. It sits inside the sound stage of the historic 501 Studios building, which spent more than thirty years as a working studio. Over that time, the room hosted countless national commercials, and Austin legends Stevie Ray Vaughan and Willie Nelson both filmed music videos there. Universal Pictures used the space for the 1981 film Raggedy Man, starring Sissy Spacek and Eric Roberts, and for more than a decade, the Texas Lottery drew and broadcast its weekly millionaires from the room. These days, the venue serves food, drinks, and live music.
On the bill, Your Arms Are My Cocoon and Feardorian take the top spots, with Team Alice and gulfwargameboy playing as well. The whole thing is put together by Scarecrow Radio and Tiny Sounds Collective. It's a four-act lineup, so there's plenty to hear across the night.
