If you're not familiar with them, Windwaker is a metal and hyperpop outfit from Melbourne, Australia. That description tells you a good bit about where they sit: the heavy, distorted side of metal meeting the bright, synthetic textures of hyperpop. It's a combination that doesn't always show up in the same room, and they're bringing it to Austin as part of this tour.
They aren't the only ones on the bill. Beartooth headlines the night, and Don Broco and Magnolia Park round out the lineup, so you'll get four bands in one evening. Windwaker is the Australian export of the group, coming in from Melbourne to join the tour.
